Financial Controller

Our success depends on sophisticated financial management, precise intercompany accounting, and strategic cash flow optimization across our international operations.**Position Overview****Key Responsibilities**- Financial Management & Reporting_- Maintain accurate books for multiple entities, ensuring proper financial reporting and reconciliations.- Assist in the preparation of consolidated financial statements.- Ensure compliance with accounting standards in the US (GAAP) and Mexico (NIFs).- Support month-end and year-end closing processes.- Work within the ERP system (Odoo preferred) to enhance financial tracking and reporting.- Accounting Operations_- Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely processing and reconciliation.- Oversee intercompany transactions and eliminations.- Assist in implementing internal controls for efficient financial processes.- Ensure proper documentation and organization of financial records.- Cash Flow & Budgeting_- Support cash flow forecasting and working capital management.- Monitor spending and assist in budget variance analysis.- Assist in operational budget tracking to align with project needs.- Process Improvement & Cross-Functional Coordination_- Collaborate with sales, logistics, and operations teams to improve financial processes.- Contribute to the development of best practices for financial operations in a startup environment.- Support the CEO with financial insights for strategic decision-making.**Qualifications**- Required Skills & Experience:_- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.- 3+ years of experience in accounting or financial management (startup experience is a plus but not required).- Strong understanding of GAAP and NIFs accounting standards.- Experience with financial software or ERP systems (Odoo preferred but not required).- Proficiency in Excel for financial modeling and reporting.- Adaptability and willingness to take on a broad range of responsibilities.- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.- Fluency in English required.**We offer**:A dynamic and professional environment with significant opportunities for growth and personal development.Full-time position as an independent contractor (honorarios)Mon-Fri: 9am - 6pm at our office in CDMX$35,000 - $45,000mxnPay: $35,000.00 - $45,000.00 per month**Language**:- Inglés (required)Work Location: In personApplication Deadline: 15/03/2025Expected Start Date: 01/04/2025
