**_Summary: _**Belong to a Team of Product Engineers and Technicians to drive the KPIs of the group: E&O reduction, complexity reduction, cross references, emergency substitutions, margin improvement, boards Layout optimization, create PE procedures.**_Experience required: _**- Bachelor´s degree- English advanced- Availability to travel MEX - USA- Minimum of 5 years of experience in wiring / electrical products in an industrial environment.- Minimum 3 years of experience in Product Engineering of wiring/ electrical products- Experience in most of commodities of electrical wiring harness (types, classification): wires, connectors, terminals, tubes, tapes, straps, special cables, electronic components, etc**_Essential functions: _**- E&O reduction looking for options for component substitutions- Reduce complexity of components: standardize component PNs, homologate equivalent PNs in massive BOM changes- Create cross references for potential materials deviations- Search for emergency substitutions of components to support backlog recovery of the Plants- Create and maintain standard process for margin improvement in Engineering Changes, including database of preferred components, BOM for quotation, BOM for manufacturing, etc- Assembly boards layout optimization to prevent multiple boards (one per drawing) for a similar harness family (communized tooling)- Create PE procedures, tools, processes for standardization and continuous improvement of Product Engineers- Support Design In initiatives to achieve the monthly and annual targets- Comply with the Quality and Environmental Management System and Corporate Policies**_Skills: _**- Interpretation of drawings of electrical wiring harnesses- Knowledge of Product Engineering process: Drawings, BOMs, cutsheets, deviations, ECNs- Basic knowledge of wiring design / electrical architecture- Technical skills in component drawings, standardization, comparisons, cross references**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent**Salary**: $1.00 - $2.00 per month**Education**:- Bachelor's (preferred)**Experience**:- Product Engineering: 3 years (preferred)Willingness to travel:- 25% (preferred)
