Human Resources Business Partner

Implements and executes human resources strategies. Partners with assigned client groups to ensure a complete understanding of business needs and objectives and proactively resolves HR and business issues and provides solutions through organizational effectiveness and employee life cycle. Responsible for and/or serves as an HR liaison for all HR aspects, such as: talent management, labor relations, employment, employee engagement, change management, organizational design and development, employee relations, compensation, benefits, diversity and inclusion, and/or training, coaching and development, and workforce planning.**Job Summary**:This position partners with managers and associates to deliver core HR services. Ensures an optimal management of HR processes and associate experience, with a focus on people and culture.The HR Business Partners is responsible for solving local organizational challenges through people-related solutions that support Alcon’s mission: “to help people see brilliantly”. D elivers annual people processes; has in-depth knowledge of local talent, and provides coaching to managers to help them accelerate talent readiness. The HRBP brings a deep understanding of local business needs. Contributes HR point of view into business issues and supports diagnostic interventions to deliver local solutions.Collaborates on a regular basis with HR COEs and HR Services on design and execution of solutions and service delivery to clients. Implements strategic initiatives and other enterprise-wide initiatives and HR programs to support Alcon associates, including compensation, performance, employee relations and engagement, culture, and talent development initiatives.Is a role model of Alcon’s values & behaviors.**Responsibilities**:In partnership with people leaders:- Aligns with the Talent & Culture Partner to execute enterprise level initiatives.- Delivers Alcon’s core HR services and people processes (e.g. OTR, PMP), and ensures an optimal associate experience- Drives business success by coaching and advising teams on associate experience initiatives, such as Associate Experience Dashboard, Recognition programs, etc.- Ensures timely execution of all people-related processes- Implements global, regional or local HR programs- Coaches business leaders and associates on all HR-related topics (e.g. change management, talent management, employee relations, career development, etc.)- Accountable for driving high-quality, diverse local talent bench, through selection process, equitable compensation practices and adequate talent development- Support diagnostic intervention and problem resolution strategies to contribute HR point of view to business issues- Utilize workforce analytics and insights to improve people and workforce management.**Knowledge and Skills**:- **Business Insights**:- Ability to understand business drivers and how organizational strategy relates to human capital strategy.- **Persuades - **Can coach and influence people leaders and teams, using data, trends (internal & external) and perspectives to drive alignment, ownership and improved decision making and actions needed to move the business, people strategies or personal performance forward.- **Decision Quality**:- Ability to identify and leverage data to make informed human capital decisions as well as influence the business. Attentively listen to others.**Education**:- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of years and education of directly related experience.**Work Experience**:- 5 years’ experience in in Human Resources, Business, or related field.**Other**:- The ability to fluently read, write, understand and communicate in English.- Strong local employment law knowledge and ability to adapt to new circumstances- Good understanding of and oversight of all payroll and tax issues
