Overview Are you an expert in application development? We're seeking a skilled Applications Engineer to join our team. Responsibilities Conducting demonstrations of hardware and software products to showcase technical features and processes to prospective and existing customers Effectively communicating the benefits of complex applications to customers Assisting the regional sales team in providing product recommendations for customer applications Preparing operating instructions and conducting training programs to meet customer needs Maintaining positive customer relationships through effective interaction Preparing detailed technical specifications for quotations Developing programs / applications that effectively accomplish customer specifications / objectives Consulting with customers and incorporating their needs and feedback into application designs Providing technical support to customers both on-site and by phone Ensuring programs / applications work properly after maintenance and testing Analyzing and editing existing programs / applications as needed to optimize performance You will be working closely with our engineering and marketing groups on product development projects. If you have a passion for delivering high-quality solutions and excellent customer service, we encourage you to apply. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in a relevant technical field (e.G., mechanical engineering, electronics, or computer science) Minimum of three years mechanical, electrical, computer, and software experience, Minimum 2 years of experience in dimensional metrology applications Solid knowledge of 3D CAD Understanding of : Tolerances and geometric dimensions (GD&T); ISO, ASME B89, and VDI standards; Measurement Systems Analysis (MSA, GR&R) Experience in operation and programming of dimensional metrology equipment, VB programming preferred Advanced computer skills, configuration, and maintenance Must exhibit independence and the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues with minimal assistance Must be able to travel extensively Fluent Advanced English Please note that all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, or disability.
