Mobile Developer

Location Remote Role Overview We are looking for a skilled React Native Developer to join our team and help evolve and maintain our mobile reading application. You’ll be working alongside a small, experienced team of developers to deliver new features, enhance performance, and ensure a great user experience across iOS and Android. Key Responsibilities Build, maintain, and improve our React Native app for iOS and Android. Collaborate with a team of two senior developers and a Project Manager to implement high‑quality features. Debug and optimize performance across platforms. Integrate complex business logic and multiple backend services. Participate in regular code reviews and contribute to architectural decisions. Occasionally engage with non‑technical stakeholders or other departments. Tech Stack Languages & Frameworks: React Native, TypeScript Data & Storage: Realm Networking & Services: gRPC UI / UX Tools: TanStack Utilities: HtmlParser Familiarity with native iOS / Android development is a strong plus. Ideal Candidate 5+ years of software development experience, with at least 3 years in React Native. Strong knowledge of JavaScript / TypeScript and mobile performance best practices. Experience working on complex applications with rich business logic. Comfortable integrating external services and APIs. Experience with animations and a solid understanding of mobile UI / UX design principles. Independent, self‑motivated, and able to work with minimal supervision. Bonus Background or passion for literature, web novels, or online publishing. Interview Process Phone Screening: Conducted by our recruiter; evaluates communication skills, technical fundamentals, and relevant coding experience. Optional Code Assignment: Based on the screening results, some candidates may be asked to complete a short coding task. Technical Interview: A 60‑minute session with the engineering lead focused on architecture, mobile‑specific challenges, and familiarity with our tech stack. Offer Stage: Final discussion to review fit, expectations, and compensation. A job offer may be extended during this step. Other Details Remote‑first team. Open to global applicants.
