We constantly develop our people, that are passionate doing their work in our fast-paced environment.**What do you bring to the team?**Güdel Mexico is looking for an entry-level Software Developer Engineer (PLC) to joining to the brand-new Software Hub located in Monterrey N.L.**Key Responsibilities**:- You are responsible for creating the PLC program for complex automation systems controlled by PLC controllers.- Program efficiently the sequence of operations in the machine in short periods of time.- Continuous development of this software is required.- Compliance with standards is important, especially in the area of machinery.- Specification, design, development, testing, and maintenance of high-performance control functions for all automation systems at Güdel.- Definition and implementation of the interface to the user interface (HMI) as well as to the actuators and sensors in the system.- Definition and implementation of interfaces to other third-party systems.- Close cooperation in the security area to guarantee the functional security of the system.- Determine and define the technologies to be used in the PLC area.- Guarantees adequate customer service in case (3rd level support).- Supports the product owner with technical queries from interested parties.- Establish and maintain the CI/CD.- Compliance with international standards, especially machinery safety standards.**Qualifications desired**:- Bachelor's degree in Engineering from a University (computer science, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering) desired.- 1 year working in the automation field in an Engineering or Project Management related role or equivalent combination of education/training and experience.- 1 year of professional experience in the development of high-level language software in the automation environment.- Knowledge in motion control technology (eg Beckhoff, Bosch-Rexroth, Siemens).- Knowledge in the development of user interfaces and backend logic in the field of industrial machines.- Experience working in an agile development team according to SCRUM/KANBAN methods.- Experience dealing with clients and interdisciplinary collaboration.- High affinity for industrial automation.**Skills Required**:- Proficient in PLC programming in the Beckhoff environment (TwinCat2/3)- Knowledge in SW modeling languages (eg UML, Gherkin) and relevant architecture tools (eg Enterprise Architect).- Desirable experience using modern development (eg VS, VS Code), Test (eg xUnit, MSTest, TestComplete), and DevOps Tools (eg TeamCity).- Communicative personality with assertiveness- Strong task-oriented and time management skills- Strong attention to detail and precision- Professional and positive approach, self-motivated, strong management skills.- Possibility of traveling to client sites, nationally and internationally.- Availability to travel (20% as a guide)- Advanced English**We offer**:- Immediately offer- Career plan and real growth opportunities- Constant training and tutoring.- Hybrid work schedule (home office - GMX office).- Hired directly by Güdel and 100% under payroll- Benefits of the law and above (Savings fund for employees, social benefit, and others).- Work zone: Monterrey N.L.
