Wabtec has been doing that for decades and we will continue to do so Through our people, leadership development, services, technology and scale, Wabtec delivers better outcomes for global customers by speaking the language of industry.**Responsibilities**:- Execute site LEAN initiative for process improvements that foster goal attainment for current and future business needs.- Prepare and lead Action workouts to closure with in depth preparation and documented report outs to all levels of the organization.- Develop team to be leaders of Six Sigma methodologies and leverage data driven approaches to improve productivity and implement robust process controls to reduce defects.- Interface with vendors in an effective manner to ensure that technology and processes are positioned for current and future success.- Collaborate with the Continuous ImprovementQualifications / Requirements:- Bachelor’s Degree in progress (80% credits completed)- Minimum of 1 additional years of industrial manufacturing experience in Production Process and Equipment.- Demonstrated experience owning production processes, growing capability, yield, process development and New Product Introduction.- Strong communication skills, written and verbal.- Demonstrated ability to develop metrics and consolidate data for both upward and horizontal interpretation.- Ability to lead and develop teams.- Bilingual English/Spanish.- Team player.- Good strategic thinker; strong influencing skills; resourceful and inclusive.Desired Characteristics:- Demonstrated program or project management skills.- Six Sigma training or equivalent quality training (certifications not required but a plus).- Ability to analyze problems, identify root causes and provide efficient solutions.- Ability to facilitate across all levels of the organization.- Ability to coordinate several projects simultaneously.Wabtec Corporation is committed to taking on the world’s toughest challenges.
