Immigration Paralegal

**We are looking for a Paralegal with Immigration law experience**A Paralegal perform a variety of tasks to support lawyers including maintaining and organizing files, conducting legal research, and drafting documents.**Job Tasks**:- Draft and file documents in court- Request medical bill/records- Prepare notices and schedule depositions- Write demand letters- Write letters of representations and motions- Coordinate with opposing counsels and medical practitioners- Sort documents in case folders- Create a record chart and record summary for each client case- Draft pleadings and petitions- Draft Petitions and Discovery**Qualifications**:- A Bachelor’s degree is required; Law graduate or currently in Law School- Personal Injury law experience is required- With a solid knowledge of legal terminology, legal procedure, and substantive law- Understands the principles of legal writing- Knowledge of attorney-client relationships applicable to the performance of major duties and responsibilities of the position- Master skills in basic principles, concepts and methodology of legal proceedings and legal research- Excellent English oral and written communication skills- Has exceptional organizational skills and is able to multi-task- Ability to work with databases and online technological platforms- Ability to be detail-oriented, diligent, and flexible- Ability to handle conflicting time demands and focus on task completion with little direction or need for supervisory follow-up- Proficient command of the English language in both oral and written format- Ability to work and maintain patience with diversified individuals of various backgrounds and professional competencies- Committed to maintaining integrity and confidentiality on behalf of the company, the firm and its clients- **_Willing to work on the Pacific Standard Time schedule_**:- **_Own Laptop or Desktop (8GB RAM, core 5 above) and with an internet connection of at least 10mbps_****What we offer**:- USD $6 to $8 per hour (40 hrs per week)- Permanent and Stable WFH employment- Competitive Compensation and Benefits- $150 USD Anual bonusTipo de puesto: Tiempo completoSueldo: $18,240.00 - $24,320.00 al mesPago complementario:- Bono anual- Bono de permanenciaTipo de jornada:- Turno de 8 horas
