If you’re looking for a career where you can make a real impression, join GSC HSBC and discover how valued you’ll be.We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of**Regional Head of Treasury Change****Role purpose**:The Head of Americas Treasury Change role will be driving transformational programmes across the Americas (US, Canada and Mexico & LAM), including delivery of regulatory programmes and other significant change programmes requiring complex understanding of the Regulatory regime. The key roles and responsibilities are:- The role holder will be driving transformational activities by managing a change across portfolio of regional treasury change programmes including delivery of regulatory programmes and other significant change programmes covering but not limited to:- Global Liquidity Programme, Interest Rate Risk in the Banking Book Programme and Tax Change- Finance Change components of the Resolvability Assessment Framework (RAF) Programme with particular focus on the Valuation in Resolution (ViR) workstream and Solvent Wind Down (SWD)- Capital Programme including Structural FX Change- The Finance workstream of the IBOR Transition Programme- The roleholder will ensure treasury change portfolio are globally consistent and that projects are rolled out in a globally coherent and effective manner- The roleholder will ensure the appropriate governance exists around all regional programme related to Treasury change in the Americas.- The roleholder will be responsible to build an organisation that fully supports and communicates progress to all sites across the Americas and that provides delivery leadership and responsibility to treasury change portfolio implementations- The roleholder will be responsible for end to end project management of all Americas run and / or owned programmes**Main activities**:- Deliver the Regional treasury portfolio projects to internal clients, including Finance, Risk and the Global Businesses.- Provide management and deployment of Regional Change Delivery teams and resources- Deliver an effective and efficient finance Change delivery process within the Americas and work with local leadership to implement in-site- Attract, develop and retain talent in the Finance Change Delivery team within the region- Accountable for the Regional Treasury Change governance bodies - responsible for setting the agenda and priorities and ensuring agreement from the senior Regional Finance and other wider stakeholders.- The jobholder will also continually reassess the operational risks associated with the role and inherent in the business, taking account of changing legal and regulatory requirements, operating procedures and practices, management restructurings, and the impact of new technologyRequirements**Knowledge & Experience**- Significant experience in the delivery of change within the Finance business domain, with specific experience of Treasury and / or complex programmes preferred- Exceptional drive, motivation and commitment and focus in operational excellence- Industry leading project management capabilities with a track record of successfully designing and delivering large scale, complex global change projects- Outstanding understanding of HSBC Group structures, values, behaviours, processes and objectives- Very strong knowledge of the external environment - regulatory, political, competitors, etc- Relevant knowledge of the Group’s Finance function in multiple locations- Ability to operate in all HSBC’s key locations- Detailed understanding of the Finance operating model at Business and Country levels- Understanding of finance & risk systems- Solid leadership skills with experience in managing people in a large matrix organisation, including successful experience in developing and retaining critical talent- Ability to work in fast-paced environment with proven ability to handle multiple outputs at the same time- Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills, with proven experience of communicating effectively and confidently at all levels across the Group in a complex global environment- Outstanding relationship management, collaboration and influencing skills.- You’ll achieve more when you join HSBC_At HSBC we offer our colleagues a greater number of days so that they can fully enjoy their wedding, take care of the new member of the family, or grieve the loss of a family member.
