Maintenance Manager

Additionally, Outokumpu business area Americas has a commercial office in Brazil.**Job qualifications and experience requirements**:- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Facility Management, or a related field.- Relevant certifications in maintenance management or a specific technical discipline are a plus.- Advanced English level oral and written.- Proven experience as a Maintenance Manager or in a similar leadership role in maintenance within industrial, manufacturing, or facility operations. Metal mechanic industry preferred- Strong understanding of mechanical and electrical systems, as well as building infrastructure.- Excellent leadership, team management, and communication skills.- Ability to develop and manage budgets effectively.- Proficient in maintenance management software and systems.- A commitment to safety and quality standards.- Ability to handle multiple projects and deadlines.**Competencies and skills**:- Excellent communication and negotiations skills.- Strategic Thinking/Management- Leadership- Teamwork**Some of the activities you will be doing includes**:- Resolve troubleshooting problems.- Establish work breakdown structures.- Support effective maintenance work and outages.- Develop and maintain a culture of safety.- Develop and implement a maintenance strategy that ensures the optimal functioning of all facility machinery and equipment.- Oversee and coordinate the daily activities of the maintenance team, including scheduling and prioritization of work to ensure mínimal disruption to operations.- Help establish and maintain budgets associated with maintenance, including but not limited to Maintenance contracts, maintenance spend, life cycle cost.- Manage maintenance budgets and forecasts, including the procurement of supplies and equipment, while striving for cost-efficiency without compromising quality or safety.- Establish and maintain a preventive maintenance program to minimize downtime and extend the lifespan of equipment.- Liaise with external contractors and service providers, ensuring that all work is completed to the required standards and within agreed timeframes.- Lead, train, and develop maintenance team members, promoting a culture of safety, teamwork, and continuous improvement.- Keep detailed records of maintenance and repair work, including costs, undertaken equipment, and inventory of supplies.- Availability to respond to emergencies outside of standard working hoursShare accountabilities:- Plant wide support to manager work priorities to minimize external resource- Plant wide support to manage priorities and minimize rentals- Support areas around the facility during times of escalation.**Physical requirements**:- Must frequently lift and/or move up to 40 lbs. individually.- Ability to frequently work from heights- Exposure to consistent noise.- Exposure to wet and/or humid conditions, varying temperatures, vibrations, dust and asphalt.- Ability to frequently sit, stand, talk and listen for long periods of time.- Frequently use hands and fingers, to handle, feel and operate; objects, tools and controls.- Frequently reach with hands and arms.- Ability to walk long distances, sometimes over uneven terrain.- Ability to climb several flights of stairs.- Ability to work in a safety sensitive environment.**Salary**: 88,080 a 110,090 pesos**Te ofrecemos**Vales de despensa - Fondo de ahorro - Plan de retiro - Aguinaldo superior al establecido por leyVacaciones de ley - Prima de vacaciones superior a la establecida por ley - Incentivo de producción mensual o incentivo anual de ventas.
