Today, we continue to lead because we have a world-class, diverse workforce that puts the customer at the center of everything we do.**About the role****Key Responsibilities**:As a Senior Mechanical-Electrical Engineer you’ll be responsible for:- Interaction with team members both internal and external to create new control box designs and features according to their specifications.- Management of your own workflow for assigned projects.- Assist mechanical designers in the creation of enclosure and assembly drawings.- Manage electronic Engineering Change Notice (ECN) generation and implementation through the Windchill product data management system.- Support of sustaining products including quality improvements, cost reductions, component obsolescence, and failure analysis.- Utilization of PTC Creo to create models, assemblies, and perform mechanical analysis.- Assembly and evaluation of physical mock-ups of control boxes and panels- Provide mechanical sustaining, drafting, and analysis expertise in the areas of sheet metal, fasteners, and enclosures for electrical panels for use in the HVAC and adjacent industries.- Sustaining of enclosures that meet varying levels of ingress protection- Support on layout of electrical and electro-mechanical devices within enclosures followed by layout and design of wiring harnesses to interconnect inside and outside the enclosure.- Examples include Mold Case Circuit Breakers, Control Transformers, Fuses, Contactors, etc.- Utilization of AutoCad as well as Microsoft Office to complete design level documentation.- Utilization of PTC Creo or similar CAD modeling packages- Examples of documentation include harness drawings and bills-of-material.- Evaluation and approval of components with suppliers to meet requirements for function and performance.- Plan and execute projects assigned to keep them as planned.**Requirements**:We are looking for people who are communicative and self-oriented. If this is you, get in touch.**As a minimum you must have**:- BSc degree in Mechanical Engineering- 5- 7 years of relevant experience- Experience with PTC Creo or similar CAD modeling packages- Familiarity with standard office productivity tolls (Microsoft Office, etc.)- Advanced English**Although not necessary, it would be nice if you have**:- Project management skills are considered very beneficial.- Familiarity with reading, understanding, and troubleshooting electrical schematics.- Familiarity with electromechanical devices (motors, breakers, relays, etc) and electromechanical enclosures and control panel development is highly desirable.- Familiarity with HVAC systems is highly desirable- Familiarity with national and international standards.
