Job Description Information Systems Engineer 2 performs the following functions: Designs, analyzes, evaluates, tests, debugs and implements application programs in support of various functional areas such as materials, marketing, accounting, or human resources. Analyzes, installs, acquires, modifies and supports operating systems, database or utilities software. Plans, conducts and directs the analysis of business problems to be solved with automated systems. Analyzes, designs, acquires and implements projects for LAN and/or WAN systems. Plans, designs, acquires and implements telecommunication voice/wire systems. Support daily operations to keep business running and participate in status and IT operations meetings. Perform various functions on IT systems, applications, hardware, and networks. Monitor system performance and accuracy. Maintain service level agreements and coding standards. Act as an escalation resource for technicians and perform needed changes and upgrades to existing systems. Perform root cause analysis to identify issues and provide resolutions for problems of moderate scope. Install and upgrade applications, software, and hardware on existing platforms. Perform function, integration, and regression testing on updates and changes. Perform changes to existing applications and systems to accommodate temporary or permanent customizations. Develop scripts, queries, tools, and applications for use in administration, automation, performance and capacity monitoring, preventative maintenance, disaster recovery, and security initiatives. #J-18808-Ljbffr
