**Purpose**:This involves overseeing quality assurance processes, implementing quality control measures, and ensuring compliance with industry standards.**Scope**:The role encompasses the entire production process, from raw material inspection to final product testing and shipment area.Task include lead a team of quality team (Engineer, Technician and Inspectors). Work closely with production and engineering teams, and interface with suppliers and customers to maintain Corning standards.**Challenges**:Process capability (sigma level)Consistency in our processes trough qualityManagement of Change and NPI introduction from Quality perspective**Competencies/Skills****Required**:In-depth knowledge of quality assurance methodologies and standards in optical cable manufacturing- ISO 9001 > TL9000- Experience with ISO 9001, Six Sigma, or similar quality frameworks.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills- Error proofing- Eng.
