This position has the responsibility of sourcing and purchasing raw material for the most critical parts and/or vendors for the plant, lead recovery plans and conferences with critical suppliers while improving purchasing metrics of own scope of work such as PPV, Invoices on hold, past due orders, shortage reduction, order placement, MRB material, item master data accuracy.**Accountabilities**:- Lead weekly meetings and recovery plans with key suppliers.- Past due PO burn down.- On time order placement.- Cost out deployment.- Reduction of PPV and Inventory.**Job Specifications**:- Reports to: Purchasing Manager- Has Direct Reports? No- Number of people that reports to him: 0- Schooling required: Bachelor’s degree.- Experience required 5 to 7 years work experience.- English level: 90% fluent.- Computational knowledge: Office systems software (MS Word, Excel, Power Point).**Additional comments**:- Knowledge of materials planning systems (MRP/ERP).- Tangible experience in NPI Process.- Ability to lead and coordinate critical suppliers recovery plans and actions.- Spend analysis and PPV knowledge.- Inventory reduction thru analysis of own suppliers.- APICS basic module
