Descripción y detalle de las actividades- **Overview**- Modular Design Industries (MDI) and Domo Modular LLC are privately held entities specializing in volumetric modular residential construction across Southern California, Arizona, Texas, and Colorado.- Currently possessing a backlog exceeding 12,000 residential units and multiple development sites prepared for construction, both companies seek a bilingual **Director of Finance** to oversee, lead, and coordinate all accounting functions for MDI (México) and Domo Modular (U.S.). This role is responsible for managing financial operations, reporting, and ensuring integration and compliance across both- organizations.**Role Purpose**- The **Director of Finance** will be accountable for all accounting and financial reporting activities for both entities. The role encompasses managing the complete accounting cycle, ensuring adherence to- Mexican and U.S. standards, and aligning financial processes, controls, and reporting practices across both companies to support strategic growth and operational excellence.Experiência y requisitos- **Key Responsibilities**:- **Accounting & Reporting**: Oversee full-cycle accounting in Odoo for MDI & Domo Modular, including GL, AP/AR, inventory, asset management, and cost accounting. Lead monthly/quarterly/annual closing, prepare Mexican NIF financial statements and management reports. Coordinate audits, tax filings, and SAT submissions for MDI; ensure Domo Modular compliance with U.S. requirements.- **Odoo Expertise**: SME for Odoo Finance, optimizing chart of accounts, bank integrations, and multi-currency configurations (MXN/USD). Lead automation projects (three-way match, landed cost, treasury dashboards). Mentor users, create SOPs and training.- **IMMEX Compliance**: Ensure IMMEX compliance, collaborating with supply chain. Manage temporary import reconciliations, Annex 24/31, virtual pediment closure. Handle NAFTA/USMCA origin certifications, VAT recovery, customs broker relations.- **U.S. Coordination**: Consolidate MDI financials with Domo Modular LLC for intercompany transactions.
