Come be a part of this journey****BAT MEXICO** **IS LOOKING FOR A DEMAND PLANNING ANALYST****SENIORITY LEVEL**:Entry Level**FUNCTION**: Finance**LOCATION**: Monterrey, Mexico**ROLE POSITIONING AND OBJECTIVES****Reports to**:Demand Planning Manager**Geographic Scope**:Local**WHAT YOU WILL BE ACCOUNTABLE FOR**- Data Collection: Gather historical sales data, customer orders, and other relevant information from various sources to create a comprehensive database for demand forecasting analysis.- Data Analysis: Utilize statistical methods, data analysis tools, and software to analyse historical data, identify patterns, trends, and anomalies, and extract meaningful insights to inform forecasting models.- Forecasting Models: Develop and implement demand forecasting models using statistical techniques, time series analysis, and predictive analytics. Use software tools like advanced Excel or Python.- Accuracy Monitoring: Regularly monitor the accuracy of forecasting models by comparing predicted values with actual sales data. Identify discrepancies and adjust the models as necessary to improve accuracy.- Ad Hoc Analysis: Conduct ad hoc analysis as required by the management or other departments. Provide quick and accurate analyses to address specific business questions or concerns.- Report Generation: Provide the organization with the correct sales database.**ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE, SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE**- Bachelor’s degree in: Engineering / Statistics / Economy / Maths.- Minimum 2-3 years’ experience using Excel.- Fluent in English and Spanish.- Hands-on experience in data toolsets, demand planning software and programs, statistics, forecast modelling.- Capable to understand and analyse impacts of business decisions on financial results.- Very good communication skills, organizational skills, ability to prioritize and able to work with tight deadlines.- Have strong analytical and numerical skills.- Experience analysing large databases.- Advanced**BENEFICIAL**- Previous experience in any FMCG.- Intercultural competencies from international experience or personal background.- Good understanding of SC Planning tools: JDA (advanced) and SAP / SAP APO, Kinaxis, Oracle**WE ARE BAT**At BAT we are committed to our Purpose of creating A Better Tomorrow.
