They ensure compliance with Industry, Customer and Celestica Requirements. They drive Zero Defect culture with emphasis on maximizing value and prevention of quality problems.**RESPONSIBILITIES**- Developing and deploying robust Components Qualification processes (PPAPs and Validations), and procedures. Document control, maintenance and continual improvement of Components Qualification processes.- Support the Monitoring of customer and Celestica requirements/expectations flowed down to suppliers and sub suppliers to ensure clear expectations are defined and understood.- Quality Planning during new product introduction, flawless launch, transitions and significant process changes.- Support Management and reporting of risk-based Supplier Audit program. Support Supplier Qualification audits to assess quality systems, technical capability and process capability as needed. Assist in supplier selection and onboarding.- Create, analyze and report supplier performance data, metrics and KPI’s.- Monitor ongoing supplier performance and Drive Supplier Quality Improvement Plans to address systemic issues. Work with supplier’s and Celestica’s site representatives to effectively drive root cause and corrective action to resolve problems.- Educate suppliers on the deployment of core quality tools such as FMEA, Control Plans, 8D/ Root Cause Analysis and problem resolution.- Initiate SCARs, Deviations, CAPAs and NCRS for components issues.- Must be able to travel 10%-25%.- Duties of the position are performed in a manufacturing environment with frequent exposure to noise, dust, chemicals, operating machinery, temperature extremes, hazardous substances, etc.- Duties may require extended periods of sitting and sustained visual concentration on a computer monitor or on numbers and other detailed data.- Repetitive manual movements (e.g., data entry, using a computer mouse, using a calculator, etc.) are frequently required.- Duties of the position are performed in a manufacturing environment with frequent exposure to noise, dust, chemicals, operating machinery, temperature extremes, hazardous substances, etc.- Duties may require extended periods of sitting and sustained visual concentration on a computer monitor or on numbers and other detailed data- Repetitive manual movements (e.g., data entry, using a computer mouse, using a calculator, etc.) are frequently required**AUTHORITY**- Authority to operate according to your work document**POSITION REQUIREMENTS**PROOF****EDUCATION**- Bachelor’s degree in related field or consideration of an equivalent combination of education and experience- Fluent English spoken and written.- Validated by HR.**TRAINING**- DOC Politica de calidad- DOC Consulta ETQ- DOC Buenas Practicas de Documentación.- DOC Buenas Practicas de Manufactura.- DOC Salud, Higiene y Código de Vestimenta.- DOC Descarga Electroestática “ESD (Electroestatic Discharge)”- Validated by training.**ABILITIES**- Practical knowledge international industry quality standards including as appropriate AS9000 series, ISO13485, ISO9001, AITF16949, FDA, VDA etc- Extensive experience with conducting quality audits. Lead Auditor certification preferred- Lean Six Sigma qualified belt is preferred but not required.- Ability to work with peers, customers and suppliers with minimum supervision to meet the objectives.- Highly motivated, passionate and collaborative with an ability to work remotely- Ability to interact and communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders- Proven facilitation and collaboration skills- Ability to effectively lead and manage multiple projects- Flexible and cooperative approach when working in teams.- Validated by HR or with Curriculum Success cases presented during interview, Interaction during work meetings.- Success cases presented during interview, Interaction during work meetings- Explanation and examples of Tools used during interview (Ex. 5 Why´s, Ishikawa, 5W + 1 H, etc.)**EXPERIENCE**- Min. 3 years’ experience in manufacturing engineering, quality and /or supply chain- Validated by HR or with Curriculum.
