We invite you to explore opportunities with Cubic.Job Details:Job Summary:Develops and improves manufacturing processes by studying product and manufacturing methodsJob duties:- Optimize the manufacturing methods (Continuous improvements).- Root cause analysis of any Manufacturing Problem to find and establish the best solution to meet with Time, Cost and safety.- Development and Implement Manufactory process job Instruction (SOP)- Develops and executes common machine shop practices, fixture design and assembly techniques- Provide complete, Clear and precise information for all assigned products.- Provide Engineering support to Operation to meet delivery, quality and cost targets.- Ability to make proposal cost reduction projects.- Qualification and validation of all new operations and processes including DOEs, validation protocol writing, execution, data analysis and executive summary reports- Supports new product development and helps ensure a smooth transition into production- Prepares product and process reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends..- Maintains product and process data base by writing computer programs; entering data.- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as neededMinimum Job Requirements:- Engineering bachelor’s degree in Industrial, Electronics, Electro mechanics, or equivalent- Knowledge on Manufacturing Process such as: Crimping, Adhesive, Electronic assembly- Must have a minimum of 2+ years of experience as Manufacturing engineer.- Development and Implement Manufactory process document (SOP, ECO’s, Deviation)- Solid understanding and ability to use Microsoft Office Tools (Outlook, Word, Excel, Project, Visio, PowerPoint, and SharePoint).- Solid skills in writing and executing engineering studies, validation protocols, final reports, etc- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and Spanish- Knowledge on Lean Manufacturing Tools- Knowledge on Lay Out Software (AutoCAD).- Advance Problem-Solving Methodology (8D, A3 THINKING, PDCA, Q.C Story, Kaizen- Follow up Costumer Compliance CAR’s- Daily Management activities.Worker Type:Employee
