**About the Role**:**Key Responsibilities**:- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement new features and enhance existing functionality.- Participate in code reviews to ensure adherence to high coding and design standards.- Partner with QA, DevOps, and Product teams to ensure smooth deployments and successful releases.- Continuously explore and adopt new tools, technologies, and best practices within the mainframe ecosystem.**Requirements**:- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.- 3-5 years of experience in COBOL development (Batch, CICS, or both).- Strong understanding of structured programming and software design principles.- Hands-on experience with mainframe technologies, including:- JCL- CICS- DB2- VSAM- Familiarity with version control tools such as Git (especially in modernized environments).- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies is a plus.- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly.**Benefits**:- 100% remote work- Competitive salary
