Senior Scrum Master

Gorilla Logic is looking for a Senior Scrum Master to work as a member of an Agile team responsible for educating, and leading the team in the selected Agile framework, ensuring that the agreed Agile process is being followed. This is a highly critical role, requiring extensive experience managing Agile projects in a fast-paced environment. Our environment will require you to work effectively with your teammates, of course. But your real success will be measured by how well you couple critical thinking with self-motivation, enthusiasm and determination.**Responsibilities**- Making sure everyone on the team understands the project’s goals and scope- Support the product owner to maintain the product backlog- Facilitating scrum activities (daily standups, demos, planning, retros) as needed- Helps to remove impediments from the development team- Helps to lead the organization to the transition to a working Agile framework- Provides updates, status and progress metrics for development programs- Understanding of program details, deliverables, and deadlines**Technical Requirements**- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience)- 5+ years Scrum Master experience on software development teams- Strong technical aptitude and hands-on experience working with technical teams- Excellent problem solving and conflict resolution skills- Excellent leadership and communications skills required**Bonus Skills**- Experience with JIRA Road Mapping & Scripting or willingness to learn is a huge plus- SAFe Certification(s)- Certified Scrum Master (CSM)- Experience with Agile management tools like JIRA, Azure, or Trello
