Position Summary Supervisory Responsibilities Nurse Job Responsibilities Advise, create, coordinate and control health programs and occupational health of the employees of the company through preventive programs, always focused in order to maintain and improve the health and fitness employees. Regular tasks: Medical examinations for admission, and periodic / emergency care and medical consultation / prenatal / control medicine / preventive health programs (health campaigns) Performs health-monitoring exams to the associates who are exposed to hazardous material or work in hazardous areas (eye, audiometric, respiratory, high pressure and drug tests, etc.) Maintains records of the associates who have suffered a work related injury and completes accident forms for the Mexican Social Security and the Labor Department. Attention, Classification and Control Incident Reporting and illnesses.Support to investigate the causes and establish preventive measures. Verifies on daily basis the cafeteria service and the bathrooms of the Company related to their hygiene. Verifies the environmental conditions as well as potential risks of those areas where the associates perform their functions. Provides information and training courses regarding disease and accident prevention as well as first aids. Participates in Motivational, Social, Cultural and Recreational events. Verifies the compliance of the Internal Regulation of the Company by the associates, visitors and employees of external Companies that are providing a service. Coordinate the regional health committee that is oriented to share the best practice in every place. Realize weekly reports that include the health statistics of all sites in the region. Lead the standardization of health processes, formats, work instructions etc, to ensure the legal compliance of the different government agencies (STPS, IMSS, SSA etc) Participate in the annual strategic planning to design the campaigns that will be carried out during the year in the sites of the region. Design plans and projects focus in health for the region. Generate, propose and monitor kpi focused on the health area in all sites. Basic Qualifications Integrity Innovation Inclusion Teamwork & Respect Excellence. Medical Degree 2-5 years of related experience Occupational Medicine certification (desirable) Knowledge of Health and safety Commission Knowledge of Government obligations regarding Health and Safety Experience in the automotive industry preferable Successfully demonstrated ability to manage change Demonstrated ability to deliver results through others HARMAN is an Equal Opportunity / Affiante Action employer.
