Position Controls Engineer Jr Responsibilities Review and input data into PLC log Participation in and preparation for managerial meetings Programming Work across with other facilities Work cross functionally with other departments Utilize team member feedback Find solutions to critical issues Maintain and improve overall equipment efficiency (OEE) HMI performance Evaluate new manufacturing and controls technologies Work with tools to find the root cause of an issue Keep equipment operating and improve equipment uptime by performing periodic audits Identify and implement error proofing requirements throughout the production process SOT walks Follow health and safety processes Act in a proactive and preventative safety behavior Documentation and reports Ensure that you stay up to date on controls technology Stay compliant with training required for position All other duties as assigned Education and Experience Bachelor's degree in Engineering, IT, or in related fields Years of Experience: 2+ year experience in industry and related equipment Travel Travel Required: High Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Allen Bradley (Studio 5000), Siemens (step 7), and C++ C sharp and ladder logic experience Ability to read drawing Advanced knowledge of electronic devices Expertise on Fanuc Roberts programming Knowledge on communication protocols Advance computer trouble shooting experience Purpose Building A Better Everything We build a better culture by putting people before profit, leading for purpose, passion and performance, and creating an environment devoted to an exceptional experience for our customers and people.
