Today, we deliver Body-in-White, warehouse automation, and industrial automation services across Europe, India, Mexico, Germany, and the United States.IT8 Engineering is expanding across the U.S. and seekingBack-end Developersto lead automation and engineering projects from planning to execution.Job Title: Back-end Developers, Mid and Senior levels available.Open positions:1 profileLocation:Illinois, USAGeneral Key Responsibilities:- Troubleshoot anddebugging:Be able to troubleshoot issues and resolve them, while communicating them to project managers, stakeholders, and QA teams.- Database managemente anddata storage:Designing and maintaining databases to store and manage data efficiently. This includes tasks such as creating database schemas, writing queries, optimizing database performance, and ensuring data integrity and security.- Software Architecture and System Design:contribute to the definition and evolution of the software architecture, focusing on building scalable, maintainable, and high-performance systems. Make key technical decisions regarding frameworks, design patterns, data flow, and system structure to ensure consistency across microservices and APIs. Collaborate closely with Front-End, DevOps, and Automation teams to establish best practices, enforce coding standards, and adapt the architecture to industrial environments using containerization (Docker), orchestration (Kubernetes), and cloud services (AWS).Qualifications:- Bachelors degree in Cpmputer Science, Systems Engineering, Electronic engineering or related.- 4-5 years of experience (mandatory) as Back-end developer- Experience in the automotive industry- Excellent organizational and time management skills.- Strong leadership and team management abilities.- Customer requirem and problem-solving skills.- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.- Advanced level of English and Spanish (desired).- Authorization to work in the United States.
