The candidate will have a mandate to lead M&A transactions in the vertical market software space, with focus on Spanish speaking Latin America countries. The role will entail leading M&A transactions during their entire cycle: from sourcing potential targets to signing NDAs, requesting information, performing valuations, issuing indicative offers, signing letters of intent, performing due diligence, and negotiating contracts to sign and close deals.**Responsibilities**Lead M&A transactions by* Identifying, contacting, and nurturing potential targets meeting our strategic criteria and specific metrics* Developing relationships with owners, advisors and investors that can lead to a transaction* Understanding the target’s business and value drivers, and preparing a valuation model* Issuing indicative offers and signing letters of intent* Leading multi-functional teams (internal and external) to drive the transaction to signing and closing**Qualifications*** Excellent academic performance* Strong communication skills* +7 years of experience in M&A* Experience working with software or technology is considered an asset* Advanced knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint: ability to build complex financial models, to perform complex analyzes, and to structure and deliver presentations to senior management* Ability to work independently.
