No Relocation Assistance Offered - San Jose Iturbide, Guanajuato, MexicoThe **Project Engineer** is responsible is to develop, coordinate and implement capital projects based on company requirements.**Responsibilities**:- Generation of technical specifications, selection and purchase of equipment, monitoring of construction and manufacturing processes.- Coordinate acceptance tests, installation of the equipment developing layout, planning, installation, elaboration of electronic scopes for the installation, field supervision, coordination of training and generation of project validation documentation.- Resource management of contractor companies.- Evaluate, analyze and implement projects.- Prepare detailed supporting information for each project.- Manage project times and resources.- Coordinate with support areas for the execution of projects (Quality, Security, Purchasing, Finance).- Support the validation of projects.- Control inputs and outputs of project assets.- Comply with security requirements and standards.- Supervise the quality of work during the execution of projects.**Requirements**:- Bachelor's degree in Mechatronic, Electronic, Mechanical, Chemical Engineering or related career.- +3 years of experience in similar positions for a manufacturing plant.- Experience in installation and commissioning of manufacturing lines.- Principles of good manufacturing practices.- Knowledge in electronics, mechanics or similar.- Knowledge of safety and hygiene.- Intermediate English.- Management of Office, reading blueprints in CAD.**Temporary position for 1 year**Equal Opportunity EmployerColgate is an equal opportunity employer and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, national origin, ethnicity, age, disability, marital status, veteran status (United States positions), or any other characteristic protected by law.Colgate-Palmolive is a leading global consumer products company, tightly focused on Oral Care, Personal Care, Home Care and Pet Nutrition.
