The Head of Cybersecurity will be responsible for defining, implementing, and overseeing the organization's comprehensive cybersecurity strategy in Mexico, ensuring information protection, business continuity, and regulatory compliance. This role will lead multidisciplinary teams and collaborate with key areas to mitigate risks and respond to incidents. Responsibilities: - Lead the implementation of security policies, standards, and procedures. Oversee risk management, vulnerability assessments, and internal and external audits. Coordinate incident response and recovery plans. Manage relationships with vendors, regulators, and compliance entities. Monitor emerging trends and threats to ensure technological resilience. Administer the department's budget and optimize resources. Develop and train the team on best practices and international standards (ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR, etc.). Hard Skills Experience in the Area - 8+ years of experience in cybersecurity, including risk management and incident response. 3+ years in leadership roles . Strong knowledge of security architectures, cloud security, and compliance frameworks (ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR). Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CEH are highly desirable.
