Job Title: Design Release Engineer – Automotive Interior & Exterior Job Summary: The Design Release Engineer (DRE) is responsible for the design, development, validation, and release of automotive interior and exterior components, ensuring they meet functional, quality, cost, and timing requirements. Key Responsibilities: Own design and release of interior/exterior components from concept to production Create and maintain CAD data, drawings, and engineering documentation Coordinate with suppliers, manufacturing, quality, and cross-functional teams Manage design changes, DFMEA, and issue resolution during development Ensure compliance with OEM standards, safety, and regulatory requirements Support prototype builds, testing, and launch activities Required Skills & Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical / Automotive Engineering or related field Experience in automotive interior or exterior component development Proficiency in CAD tools (CATIA, NX, or similar) Knowledge of plastics, sheet metal, and manufacturing processes Strong communication and problem-solving skills
