Job Title: Design Release Engineer – Automotive Interior & ExteriorJob Summary: The Design Release Engineer (DRE) is responsible for the design, development, validation, and release of automotive interior and exterior components, ensuring they meet functional, quality, cost, and timing requirements.Key Responsibilities:Own design and release of interior/exterior components from concept to productionCreate and maintain CAD data, drawings, and engineering documentationCoordinate with suppliers, manufacturing, quality, and cross-functional teamsManage design changes, DFMEA, and issue resolution during developmentEnsure compliance with OEM standards, safety, and regulatory requirementsSupport prototype builds, testing, and launch activitiesRequired Skills & Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical / Automotive Engineering or related fieldExperience in automotive interior or exterior component developmentProficiency in CAD tools (CATIA, NX, or similar)Knowledge of plastics, sheet metal, and manufacturing processesStrong communication and problem-solving skills
