WHAT IS YOUR ROLE

We are looking for a well-rounded technical program manager who understands technical program management and project management at its core. You need to have adequate technical expertise to drive the development of cutting-edge technology products. 

As the primary technical program manager, you are responsible for all the product development stages. You have to oversee each stage, collaborate with engineering teams, and ensure the product is ready for the next stage. 

You also need to act as a bridge between the software development team, technical teams, and product managers. That is why this role requires excellent communication skills, along with a strong technical background for smoother collaboration.

WHAT WILL YOU DO
  • Play a pivotal role within Platform Engineering, driving global platforms and programs that span the organization
  • Leading cross-functional, infrastructure, and software engineering programs spanning multiple teams
  • Lead goal-driven global programs to develop and manage end-to-end solution plans, monitor and ensure on-time delivery
  • Provide hands-on program management during analysis, design, development, testing implementation, and support post-implementation phases
  • Identify and manage risks, plan mitigations and drive change management on projects
  • Provide day-to-day coordination and quality assurance for projects and tasks
  • Drive internal and external process improvements across multiple teams and functions
  • Interface with business stakeholders, engineering and cross-functional partners (XFN) for project requirements and scope
  • Help drive product decisions to align with higher company initiatives
  • Own undefined spaces bringing clarity to ambiguity by working with XFN stakeholders to clearly define business and technical problems we need to solve
  • Define overall Vision, Strategy, and Roadmap to address the problems/opportunities in collaboration with Product Manager and Engineers
  • Create product backlog with user stories to develop features
  • Facilitate difficult conversations against competing priorities
  • Develop execution plans to implement features. Lead product and technical discussions to identify and remove any roadblocks
  • Be hands-on when needed and dive deep both on tech architecture and code/data
  • Manage and track execution and accountability across different product/engineering teams
  • Provide regular updates to the product teams and senior leadership
  • Lead dogfooding sessions with stakeholders to solicit feedback on features under development
  • Post launch, conduct roadshows, trainings across the organizations and evangelize product adoption
  • Actively manage risks, issues, action items, follow-ups to ensure timely closure

YOU HAVE…

  • Requires a Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, Applied Sciences, or related field and four years of work experience in the role offered or in an engineering, quality assurance, consulting, or program/product management-related occupation.
  • Requires four years of experience in each of the following:
    • Technical product/program management with background in software and systems engineering
    • Designing and delivering large tech platforms, programs, or products from inception to launch
    • Driving backend systems reliability, process efficiency and quality, improving performance work
    • Leading User sessions for gathering requirements, user stories, and refining scope
    • Conducting deep technical assessments and trade-offs to design, develop, and deliver technical solutions/platforms
    • Operating autonomously across multiple teams, demonstrating critical thinking, and thought leadership
    • Communicating with C-suite, business and technical stakeholders
    • Hands-on experience in coding and writing queries
    • Analyzing, diagnosing, and problem-solving with large-scale distributed data and cloud-based platforms and systems
    • Establishing work relationships across multi-disciplinary teams and multiple partners in different time zones
    • Developing and implementing short and long-term roadmaps for technology transformation and process improvements
    • Developing business processes, governance models, and policies for data management
    • Designing/developing software architecture
