Position Summary We are seeking a Sales Engineer with strong technical acumen and business development skills to drive sales of custom automation solutions. This individual will serve as a bridge between our engineering team and our clients, identifying customer needs, proposing tailored solutions, and supporting the full sales cycle from lead generation through project handoff. Key Responsibilities Develop and maintain relationships with new and existing clients across manufacturing industries. Identify opportunities for custom machines, automation projects, and manufacturing cell solutions through consultative sales. Collaborate with engineering and project management teams to prepare technical proposals, cost estimates, and presentations. Conduct client site visits to assess needs, gather requirements, and present solutions. Lead the preparation of quotes, bids, and commercial agreements in alignment with company goals. Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and networking opportunities. Track opportunities, pipeline, and sales performance using CRM tools. Provide feedback from the field to help refine product offerings and market strategies. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, or related field) or equivalent technical background. 3+ years of experience in sales of automation equipment, custom machinery, robotics, or manufacturing systems. Strong understanding of industrial automation, controls, and manufacturing processes. Excellent communication and presentation skills; ability to translate technical concepts into customer value. Proven track record of achieving sales targets and building long-term customer relationships. Willingness to travel to customer sites as required.
