The goal of this role is to ensure the security and integrity of cloud-based platforms by building robust, scalable applications and features that support safe and secure computing practices. The ideal candidate will have front-end and back-end expertise with a strong focus on security principles that inspire confidence and trust. Role: FS Tech Lead Location: Remote Experience: 8+ YOE Job Type: Fulltime Skills: Restful APIs, OpenAPI, SQL & NoSQL, Cloud Platforms, Java, React, Node JS What You'll Do: Design, develop, and maintain secure, scalable applications using modern tech stacks. Collaborate with security architects and cross-functional teams to implement security standards and enhancements. Ensure adherence to best practices for security, performance, and reliability in line with eBay's coding standards. Conduct security assessments, identify vulnerabilities, and resolve them to safeguard platforms. Participate in code reviews, providing constructive feedback to enhance security and promote secure coding. Stay updated with industry trends, threat intelligence, and emerging security technologies to improve cloud security posture. Expertise You'll Bring: Education: Bachelor's in Computer Science, Engineering, Cybersecurity, or related field (or equivalent experience). Experience: Proven full-stack development background with a focus on Java development. Technical Skills: Proficiency in Java, Springboot, Node JS, React, Angular. Managing and mentoring teams experience is required. Familiarity with workflow engines for app development (plus). Expertise in security principles and risk mitigation tools/methodologies. Experience with RESTful APIs and OpenAPI specification. Strong in SQL and NoSQL databases. Familiarity with secure cloud platforms and architecture. Skilled in writing clear, maintainable, and secure code. Proficiency with secure version control (Git) and collaborative dev practices.
