Manage, investigate and track issues from identification through resolution, encouraging timely remediation, and assisting the remediation team as needed. Prepare for and lead working sessions to identify root causes, remediation activities, and timelines. Analyze trends in issues to identify areas for process improvement and risk mitigation. Present results to leadership. Apply a fundamental understanding of risk to liaise with IT and other representatives of assigned business functions to perform risk reduction and mitigation activities. Advise and assist project teams regarding compensating control alternatives where security requirements cannot be met; stay abreast of emerging trends and best practices related to security and risk. Provide input into monthly and quarterly leadership reporting and presentations to leadership. Produce and maintain metrics such as key risk indicators and key performance indicators. Be an active project team member or self-manage small projects, which may include facilitating team meetings; publishing meeting notes and action items; updating project documents and systems; and ensuring timely completion of assigned action items. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience with 3-5 years of risk, IT audit, issue management, or security experience within a large professional services environment preferred. Experience with compliance, audit methodology, IT controls testing, issue investigation, issue reporting, and issue management. Preferred experience with data analytics and PowerBI. Understanding of security principles, IT security controls, and related technologies and products. Ability to positively influence, mentor and be a credible source of knowledge to less experienced team members. Strong verbal/written communication, collaboration, analytical, and presentation skills to lead an environment driven by customer service and teamwork. Experience leading meetings and workstreams. Experience with Artificial Intelligence tools such as Google Gemini and Co-Pilot preferred.
