Proposito General: The NPI (New Product Introduction) Manager is responsible for coordinating the introduction of new products and processes into the manufacturing plant. This role ensures, in collaboration with all engineering functions, that all necessary documentation, processes, tooling, facilities, and infrastructure are prepared and ready for mass production. The engineer works closely with cross-functional teams—including quality, design, maintenance, testing, manufacturing, and planning—to meet product launch deadlines. Additionally, the NPI Engineer acts as the primary liaison between the manufacturing site and global teams to facilitate information exchange and effective follow-up on NPI activities. The role also includes setting and monitoring project schedules, tracking key deliverables, and documenting incidents to guarantee their proper resolution.
Coordinate the introduction of new products and processes into the manufacturing plant.
Ensure availability of documentation, tooling, processes, and infrastructure for mass production.
Serve as liaison between the manufacturing site and global teams.
Establish project schedules and monitor progress.
Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering, Business Administration, or related fields.
Preferred Master’s degree in Business Administration (MBA) or specialization in Operations Management.
Between 5 and 10 years of experience in manufacturing, preferably in related industries.
At least 3 to 5 years of experience in an NPI or Project Manager role.
Knowledge of ERP/MRP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
Advanced proficiency in English.
Effective communication in both Spanish and English
