Demand Forecasting –Manager – Americas Delivery Mexico (ADMX)Are you an experienced, passionate pioneer in technology? A Demand Forecasting Manager who wants to work in a collaborative environment? Work you'll do/Responsibilities At Deloitte, you'll collaborate with top professionals to solve complex problems. In this role, you will leverage your technical proficiency, business acumen, and communication skills to deliver high-quality solutions. As a Manager you will contribute to the growth and success of Deloitte Consulting LLP and the Supply Chain & Network Operations Offering through: by building a repeatable COE operating model, leading multiple workstreams and stakeholders, shaping solution approaches in pursuits, and establishing governance, quality controls, and adoption mechanisms. Qualifications

Required 10+ years of consulting and/or industry experience. Completion of coursework (Egresado) in any pertinent field or industry. Responsible for client and team management including proactive value creation activities. Support sales activities, account management, and project planning.

Advanced English level. Preferred Master's Degree. Forecasting fundamentals: Hierarchy alignment, segmentation, seasonality/holiday effects, lifecycle/new product introductions (NPI), intermittency, and promo/event impacts. Strong understanding of planning processes and integration points (e.g., sales & operations planning (S&OP) / integrated business planning (IBP) touchpoints).

Gates, metrics, and stakeholder cadence (e.g., monthly COE steering). Data science for forecasting: Ability to lead solution design and, when needed, be hands-on with regression-based/causal models (linear, regularized, mixed-effects, tree-based) and time-series approaches. Strong feature engineering (causal drivers, lag structures, interaction effects), explainability, and pragmatic model selection aligned to business decisions. Robust backtesting design (time-based splits), error/bias analysis, and clear communication of assumptions, limitations, and tradeoffs.

Forecast performance management: WAPE/WMAPE, MAPE, MAE/RMSE, bias, and service-level/business impact interpretation; Ability to set pragmatic performance targets, design monitoring frameworks, and guide continuous improvement conversations with clients. Ability to set performance targets, define monitoring frameworks, and lead continuous improvement conversations with client executives and product/process owners. Data proficiency: Strong SQL; data profiling and quality assessment; ability to define data requirements and guide extraction/curation across multiple source systems. Comfort working with imperfect/sparse/bias-prone demand data; ability to define mitigation strategies and communicate risks clearly.

Ability to lead end-to-end delivery patterns (discovery → data readiness → modeling → validation → deployment/adoption), including defining templates and accelerators. Storytelling & decision support: Translate model outputs into executive-ready narratives, scenarios, and recommendations tied to planning and commercial decisions (inventory, service levels, promotions, NPI planning). Strong workshop facilitation and stakeholder alignment skills; can drive decisions, not just analysis. Asset building: Standardization, documentation, and packaging of reusable artifacts; ability to drive adoption across teams and engagements with measurable reuse.

Platforms: Blue Yonder, o9, and/or Kinaxis training, certification, configuration, or implementation experience (asset). Modern forecasting trends: probabilistic forecasting/prediction intervals, demand sensing with high-frequency signals, external data incorporation (e.g., weather/macroeconomic proxies) with governance, and model monitoring/retraining triggers (MLOps for forecasting). Tooling: Python for forecasting workflows; BI tools (Tableau/Power BI) for insight communication; familiarity with cloud analytics environments and data pipelines . Certifications (assets): IBF forecasting certifications, ASCM/APICS planning certifications, and vendor credentials (Kinaxis Maestro, o9, Blue Yonder) .

Pursuit/sales exposure: presenting solution approaches, leading estimating/workplanning, and shaping value cases. Other additional technical experience: Knowledge of planning processes and integration points (S&OP/IBP touchpoints, downstream consumption of forecasts). Ability to define standard forecasting delivery patterns (discovery → data readiness → modeling → validation → deployment/adoption) and create associated templates/accelerators. Familiarity with ERP/data ecosystems and integration considerations (ETL/ELT concepts, data contracts).

Experience

with Agile methodology, for projects implementation and/or as Product Owner. Ability to set delivery quality standards: peer review approach, model risk/assumption documentation, reproducibility, and handover/run readiness.
