The Plant Commercial Manager drives all commercial and business support functions of the Hermosillo operation. This position ensures competitive cost structures, supply chain stability, accurate EMS costing, strong customer support, and readiness for growth. The Plant Commercial manages the people, financial, and supply chain pillars that enable Hermosillo to scale from 30M to 250M USD and beyond. Responsibilities: The role is responsible for leading and coordinating key operational and strategic functions, ensuring business performance, customer satisfaction, and sustainable growth. Main responsibilities include: Financial & Cost Management: Oversee cost structures, profitability, budgeting, and financial performance, ensuring alignment with business objectives. Supply Chain & Logistics: Manage end-to-end supply chain operations, including planning, forecasting, inventory control, and on-time delivery performance. Purchasing & Supplier Management: Lead sourcing strategies, supplier negotiations, performance monitoring, and long-term partnerships. Commercial & Customer Interface: Act as the primary point of contact for customers, ensuring transparency, alignment, and high service levels. HR & Organizational Development: Support workforce planning, talent development, retention strategies, and organizational scalability. Facilities & Infrastructure: Ensure the availability, efficiency, and compliance of facilities, equipment, and infrastructure to support operations. After-Sales & Services (future scope): Contribute to the development of after-sales and service capabilities as the business evolves. What your profile should look like: You hold a Master's degree in Finance, Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or related field. You bring 10+ years of experience in manufacturing, EMS, or similar complex operational environments. You have a strong business and financial mindset, with experience in cost structures, budgeting, and P&L management. You are comfortable managing end-to-end supply chain operations, including forecasting, logistics, inventory, and on-time delivery performance. You have proven experience in purchasing and supplier management, including negotiations and performance monitoring. You are familiar with tax, customs, and maquiladora compliance within an industrial or manufacturing context. You have experience scaling organizations, supporting workforce planning, retention, and talent development. You communicate fluently in English; basic German is a plus. You are a strategic thinker with strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills. You are customer-oriented, resilient, and comfortable leading through change and transformation.
