Purchases materials according to required technical specifications, price, delivery schedule, and terms. Ensures purchasing activities align with corporate purchasing policies and procedures.
Your responsibilities- Purchasing materials according to required technical specifications, price, delivery schedule and terms, negotiating with main suppliers and periodically renewing price lists, terms and conditions.
- Initiating purchase orders according to the purchase requisitions and in alignment with standard procedures.
- Overseeing supplier performance (on-time delivery, quality, lead time) and resolving performance issues.
- Identifying and qualifying new suppliers together with supplier quality and engineering specialists.
- Aligning supplier orders with customer requirements in terms of content, quality, delivery, sustainability and price.
- Bachelors Degree in Engineer or International Business, Administration or similar.
- 1 or 2 years of experience working in similar positions.
- Good knowledge in SAP, Microsoft Excel and Power BI.
- Experience as a direct buyer.
- Ensure that the match is made for the payment of outstanding invoices.
- Knowledge in Macros, Oracle and APICS certified is desirable.
- Advanced English level.
