FOR EXPANSION PROVIDENT IS LOOKING: DATA OPERATIONS ENGINEER
Location: Puebla
The Challenge:
It is to act as the single point of accountability for all data initiatives in the market, ensuring alignment with Global Data Operations strategies, frameworks, and standards .
The role will coordinate all local data activities, embed governance and quality practices, and serve as the bridge between Mexico stakeholders and the Global Data Operations function .

Key Roles and Responsabilities:
Lead Local Data Ownership: Act as the central point of accountability for all data
Coordinate with Global Data Operations : Serve as the local bridge to Global Data Operations, ensuring Mexico adopts and complies with global frameworks for data engineering, business intelligence, governance, and architecture.
Oversee Data Quality and Controls: Establish and monitor reconciliation, validation, and quality checks across Mexico’s data processes, ensuring accuracy, integrity, and reliability of outputs.
Support Data Migration and Integration: Oversee the migration of Mexico’s data assets into the global Snowflake environment, coordinating with global engineering and architecture teams to ensure smooth transitions.
Enable BI Standardisation: Support the adoption of global BI best practices, ensuring reporting, dashboards, and analytics
What We're Looking For:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
Full professional English
Strong knowledge of data management, governance, and BI practices.
Understanding of data pipelines, migration, and cloud platforms (Snowflake/AWS preferred).
Experience and Skills:
Experience in data operations, BI, or data governance roles within a large or complex organisation.
Exposure to cloud data migrations or modern data platforms (preferred).
Proven ability to influence and align teams to shared frameworks and goals.Experience

~ Requirements 5–7 years in a similar role
~3–5 years leading teams (preferably cross-functional).
~ Exposure to cost optimization and performance tuning on AWS.
