Role Title: Senior Data Operations Analyst – Snowflake (Contract-to-Hire) Employment Type: Contract-to-Hire Duration: 3 months, with potential extension Location: Remote (Mexico) About the Role: We're looking for a hands-on Senior DataOps Engineer to ensure the stability, reliability, and timeliness of our Snowflake data platform. You'll own pipeline monitoring, incident response, and operational support, while automating manual tasks to improve efficiency and data quality. What You'll Do: Monitor Pipelines: Track ELT/ETL workflows and dbt jobs, proactively identifying delays or failures. Incident Response: Troubleshoot SQL, Python, or ingestion issues and restore service quickly. Ensure Data Quality: Validate timely, accurate data from multiple sources and track quality metrics. User Support: Manage tickets (Jira/ServiceNow) for access requests, queries, and data issues. Automation: Develop Python scripts to automate maintenance, alerts, and validations. CI/CD Support: Assist with smooth dbt/code releases and quick rollbacks. Root Cause Analysis: Document incidents and implement solutions to prevent recurrence. What We're Looking For: Operational Experience: Background in DataOps, SRE, or production support. SQL: Strong skills for debugging and validating data issues. Python: Proficient in scripting and automation (Python 3.10/3.11 preferred). Troubleshooting: Analytical mindset to trace errors across logs, code, and data lineage. Snowflake: Familiarity with virtual warehouses, history tables, and query profiling. Communication & Agility: Able to clearly work with technical teams and business users, adapt quickly in a lean environment.
