Our Optical Communications segment has recently evolved from being a manufacturer of optical fiber and cable, hardware and equipment to being a comprehensive provider of industry-leading optical solutions across the broader communications industry.This segment is classified into two main product groupings – carrier network and enterprise network. The carrier network product group consists primarily of products and solutions for optical-based communications infrastructure for services such as video, data and voice communications. The enterprise network product group consists primarily of optical-based communication networks sold to businesses, governments and individuals for their own use.

Tecnico de Calidad

Asegurarse de que el producto cumpla con los críticos de Calidad establecidos en los checklists (CTQ's) / instrucciones de Manufactura (IM) y/o ayudas visuales. Asimismo, que sea un promotor de la integridad del producto hasta su empaque final.
 
Principales responsabilidades y tareas del puesto:

  • Elaboración de gráficas, presentaciones y métricos con los principales sucesos y resumen del turno
  • Liberación de producto terminado cumpliendo los críticos de calidad (CTQ's).
  • Auditoria de proceso en caso de ser requerido por su Supervisor o jefe directo
  • Notificar al Ingeniero de Calidad y Supervisor de Producción las no conformancias que impacten los CTQ's del producto terminado
  • Auditoria de controles documentados de acuerdo con criterios establecidos en el BIQCP y/o instrucción del proceso
  • Auditoria y registro en sistema QDA (Auditoria de Producto)
  • Recolección de datos históricos para la elaboración de Control Estadístico del Proceso (SPC), según aplique
  • Cumplir con los programas y certificaciones estratégicas de planta MTA (5s, IKaizen, TPM's, etc.)
  • Entrenamiento a nuevos Auditores o Auditores que sean transferidos de otras líneas de producción
  • Tareas y actividades extras requeridas por el volumen de la demanda, operación (previamente revisadas con el Supervisor)
  • Contribuir y fomentar el cumplimiento de los métricos, proyectos estratégicos e iniciativas de mejora de la planta
  • Soporte con investigación de acciones correctivas de acuerdo con metodología soportado por el Ingeniero de Calidad o su Supervisor
  • Apoyo en la administración, manejo y control del área de producto/material no conforme (interno & externo)

 
Habilidades adicionales:

  • Manejo de Equipo de Computo
  • Manejo de SAP (deseable)
  • Manejo de paquete MS Office (básico)
  • Pruebas de Habilidad (Destreza, Precisión y Daltonismo)
  • Habilidad para cumplir con los rates de producción y principales métricos del área.
  • Conocimientos de BIQCP
  • Interpretación de documentación
  • Sentido de urgencia
  • Conocimiento de metodología DMAIC
