As a Master Production Planner, you will collaborate with PFNA Platform owners, Industry Managers, and Raw Material Planners to maintain an optimized, network-wide Supply Plan. Your efforts will ensure we meet target service and cost metrics while considering capacity and transportation constraints. Key responsibilities include:


  • Maintaining accurate inputs for the SAP Network Optimization application.
  • Analyzing supply plan outputs against quality standards.
  • Communicating updates to platform owners.
  • Publishing sourcing ratios and quotas for use by other supply chain planning tools.
  • Developing sourcing and supply recommendations.
  • Aligning the organization on optimal strategies for finished goods deployment.


We seek candidates with a strong understanding of optimization models and the ability to analyze complex data sets. Experience in influencing across all levels and functions of the business and providing thought leadership to suggest optimal supply plans is essential.


Your Impact


As a Master Production Sr. Planner, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Reviewing master and transaction data for accuracy in the NetOpt tool and escalating issues as needed.
  • Loading and maintaining network optimization data in the Product Aggregate Grouping (PAG) master data tool.
  • Partnering with NetOpt Managers (Platform Owners) to develop sourcing plans for finished and semi-finished goods over a 0-64 week horizon for internal plants and external co-manufacturers.
  • Executing ad-hoc scenario analysis and impact assessments.
  • Identifying and coordinating production plans to address raw material shortages for optimal service outcomes.
  • Reviewing and publishing sourcing ratios for use by downstream supply planning applications.
  • Measuring, monitoring, and tuning network optimization outputs by adjusting inputs and constraints.
  • Reviewing planning alerts to address shortages, inventory violations, and capacity issues, and collaborating with NetOpt managers on resolutions.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional partners to refine the source plan with appropriate parameters and constraints.
  • Partnering with Inventory Optimization to adjust JO policies due to manufacturing or storage constraints.
  • Supporting monthly S&OP and ADP (Annual Operating Plan) processes with network optimization outputs.
  • Communicating network optimization outputs clearly to NetOps managers for decision-making purposes.
  • Contributing to the development and feedback of new business processes related to supply sourcing analytics and collaboration with FLNA HQ and Field teams.


Who Are We Looking For?


  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience
  • Advanced English level - reading, writing, and communication
  • Ability to navigate complex datasets
  • Ability to simplify complex data and communicate clear recommendations to support business KP/s
  • Data science and model-building experience a plus
  • Need an understanding of network and production capabilities/capacity
  • Comfortable with Excel and pivot table functionality
  • Experience in optimization tools and Network Optimization Modules of SAP preferred
