Are you eager for an opportunity to develop as a Pricing Actuary for core Life & Health business in Latin America?
We are looking for a new member of our L&H Team to work in a multifaceted environment focusing on pricing business written particularly in Mexico. The position requires significant collaboration within the organization with other actuaries, underwriters, and support functions, locally and abroad.
We are accountable for developing innovative and custom solutions aimed at specific client needs.
In this role you would be responsible for activities like:
- Support the development and execution of the team's strategy.
- Actuarial analysis and pricing of traditional L&H business, build models, and provide analytic support throughout the deal.
- Coordinate with various internal and external partners and managing timetables and file documentations.
- Monitor the performance of the portfolios and improving governance standards.
- Design and develop of new Life & Health insurance products & client presentations. .
- Review/monitor the profitability of business lines and recommend actions as necessary (products, pricing basis, etc.).
- Actuarial support for the Latin America Life & Health business unit including development of pricing basis and actuarial processes improvement analysts and tools.
- Develop eye for business in order to become a source of technical knowledge and advice in the region.
- Develop strong relationships with global functions to transfer knowledge and expertise into Latin America.

We are searching for someone who:
- Has initial experience in pricing/monitoring a range of life and health products, good understanding of GAAP, IFRS and also capital solutions would be a plus.
- Has ability to anticipate problems and a proactive problem solving approach.
- Is an excellent communicator in English and Spanish, being able to present ideas and difficult concepts.
- Enjoys being a great teammate with drive to improve internal operation.
- Expert user of MS Excel (knowledge of VBA, SAS, R are advantages).
