Inventory Control Superintendent

Job Purpose

The Inventory Control Superintendent will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing inventory management processes, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in cycle counts, flow mapping and transactions. In addition, he/she will implement digital tools into SAP processes to improve inventory visibility and control.

Responsibilities

1. Supervision of Cycle Counts:

o Plan and coordinate inventory cycle counts.

o Analyze results of counts and adjust processes to improve accuracy.

o Train staff in counting techniques and use of digital tools.

2. Flow Mapping:

o Document and analyze inventory flows within the organization.

o Identify areas for improvement and propose solutions to optimize flows.

o Collaborate with other departments to ensure integration of processes.

3. Transaction Optimization:

o Review and improve inventory transaction processes.

o Implement controls to minimize errors and losses.

o Monitor transaction performance and adjust as necessary.

4. Digital Tools Implementation in SAP:

o Evaluate and select digital tools for inventory management in SAP.

o Lead the implementation of these tools and ensure their integration with existing processes.

o Train staff in the use of the new tools and provide ongoing support.

Requirements

- University degree in Logistics, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering or related field.

- Minimum 5 years' experience in inventory management, preferably in a SAP environment.

- In-depth knowledge of cycle counting processes, flow mapping and transaction optimization.

- Advanced skills in the use of SAP and digital inventory management tools.

- Excellent communication and leadership skills.

- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
