Client Support Services (CSS) is comprised of global service teams who are assigned to specific client (customer) accounts to handle contracts, claims and accounting.Â
In this role you will be an integral member of Guy Carpenterâs CSS Team leading Transactional Serviceâs activities as a result of clients and reinsurers interactions and processes, being responsible for processing technical transactions (e.g., settlement / payment and reporting) and ensuring they meet applicable payment warranties and/or conditions.

We will count on you to:
- Lead and oversee a team of Reinsurance Analysts.
- Design client and/or reinsurer presentation materials and communications to resolve difficult questions and secure reinsurer agreements and payments of claims and account balances
- Analyze Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and other system tools to manage basic transactional processes in a regulatory compliant manner.
- Participate in team and department meetings and activities to share opinions, ideas, knowledge and solutions, and seeks opportunities to increase own understanding and input of the services provided.
- Collect detailed information on accounting/claims process for Request For Proposal (RFP) and sales opportunities to drive business growth.
- Handle the settlement of funds to and from clients in a timely manner to ensure all applicable contractual payment terms; warranties, and/or conditions are met.
- Coordinate and attend reinsurance audit/reviews with clients and reinsurers and reviews open claims and/or premium activity, reconciles records in order to facilitate the review/audit process to ensure process quality.
- Collaborate with peers on reinsurance developments, to support discussion and develop a point of view.
- Participate in training sessions and provides input within the team and/or department for all aspects of reinsurance service processing to assist with troubleshooting and to help develop team resources.
What you need to have:
- Bachelorâs degree (or equivalent) 4 Year College Degree (B.S. or B.A)
- Up to 4-5 years of Professional experience in administrative activities is desirable, specially in Reinsurance Operations(Treaty)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) required.
- Demonstrated ability to work as part of a high performance team.
- Attention to detail in completing assigned tasks.
- Positive attitude, willingness to offer and execute ideas and solutions to enhance processes within a changing environment.
- Successful management of workload; able to manage expectations of all Clients and Stakeholders.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills, both written and verbal, delivering clear and concise messages and at all times promoting and enhancing the Guy Carpenter brand.
- Able to challenge appropriately, supporting business cases with facts and information.
- Strong ability to quickly assess and offer effective solutions to problems efficiently.
- Able to engage, influence and negotiate with Colleagues in a professional manner.
- Consistently deliver superior Client service.
- Advanced English proficiency.
