AWS Sales, Marketing, and Global Services (SMGS) is responsible for driving revenue, adoption, and growth from the largest and fastest growing small- and mid-market accounts to enterprise-level customers including public sector. The AWS Global Support team interacts with leading companies and believes that world-class support is critical to customer success. AWS Support also partners with a global list of customers that are building mission-critical applications on top of AWS services.
Key job responsibilities
Here are some key aspects of what a BM does in this context:
1. Strategic planning: The BM works closely with the MD to develop and implement strategic plans for the company, aligning them with the overall goals of AWS globally.
2. Project management: The BM oversees critical projects and initiatives, ensuring they are executed efficiently and effectively, and keeping the MD informed of progress and any issues that arise.
3. Communication and coordination: The BM facilitates communication between the MD and various departments, ensuring that everyone is aligned and working towards common objectives. This includes managing the MD's internal and external communications.
4. Problem-solving: The BM identifies and resolves problems that may hinder the company's progress, working proactively to address issues before they escalate.
5. Stakeholder management: The BM engages with key stakeholders, including clients, partners, and AWS global leadership, fostering strong relationships and representing the MD when necessary.
6. Meeting management: The BM manages the MD's schedule, prioritizing meetings and engagements, and ensuring that the MD is well-prepared for each interaction.
7. Data analysis and reporting: The BM gathers and analyzes data to provide the MD with insights and recommendations for decision-making, and prepares reports on the company's performance.
8. Special projects: The BM takes on special projects as assigned by the MD, which may include research, analysis, or the implementation of new initiatives.
9. Acting as a trusted advisor: The BM serves as a confidential sounding board for the MD, offering advice, guidance, and support in navigating complex challenges and decision-making processes.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 5+ years of developing, negotiating and executing business agreements experience- Experience developing strategies that influence leadership decisions at the organizational level
- Experience managing programs across cross functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience interpreting data and making business recommendations- Experience identifying, negotiating, and executing complex legal agreements
