Social Media Manager Job Type: Part-time (20 hours per week) Work Remotely: Yes. This is a 100% remote position. Who We Are Spanish55 is a mission-driven online Spanish school filled with people who care deeply about building new human experiences. We're searching for our next Social Media Manager. If you're passionate about social media, analytics, and the positive impact it can have to solve challenges, we'd love to talk to you. Opportunity As Spanish55’s Social Media Manager, you will be the primary planner, curator, and executor for our social media content across all brand channels—including LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Google My Business, and (eventually) Instagram. You will work closely with our Director of Communications to build out the editorial calendar for social and ensure that the holistic social ecosystem of our brand is consistent, engaging, and growing organically. Additionally, you will collaborate with our Support and New Student Advisor teams to create processes around prospect inquiries on social channels. This role is for someone who loves building and scaling communities, always puts forth a positive mindset, and is deeply excited by the impact and growth engine of social media. What You’ll Do Develop creative organic social campaigns to educate and increase engagement with our community of students. Plan and create content. Act as the voice of our brand to foster social engagement efforts by maintaining presence and conversation across all channels. Establish a global editorial content calendar, collaborating with Spanish55’s Director of Communications to develop content that nurtures our community of users. Develop community engagement plans focused on turning prospects into students and students into advocates. Collaborate with external content creators to holistically build content and plan campaigns. What You’ll Bring Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Communications, or Digital Marketing (suggested). 1+ years of work experience in social media, communications and/or digital marketing, with a desire to be part of building brands’ social media presence. Experience in online community building. Knowledge of, passion for, and experience with social media platforms, both established and emerging. Exceptional writing skills, both in English and Spanish. Obsessed with languages, other cultures, and/or the education industry is a major plus. Proficiency in graphic design software and tools (Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, Canva). What We Offer Flexible working hours (must be available for a weekly Staff Meeting on Wednesdays at 9 AM PT). Pay: $5,500 MXN per month.
