Java L2/L3 Production Support Specialist (100% Remote - Mexico) | Full-Time Opportunity Location: 100% Remote (Mexico) Type: Full-Time Compensation ( Per Month - MXN Peso): $70,000-$90,000K Position Level: L2, L3 Required Experience Level: L2: Senior Support Specialist (6-9 Years) L2: Advanced Specialist (9+ Years) L3: Senior Specialist (6-9 Years) L3: Advanced Specialist (9-12 Years About the Role We are seeking hands-on individuals with 7-12 years of experience in Java development and L2/L3 production support . You will be responsible for ensuring the stability, performance, and reliability of complex, multi-tier Java applications, driving critical incident resolution, implementing effective problem management, and executing necessary code fixes across various environments, including production. Key Responsibilities & Skills Core Skills: Core Java, J2EE, Production Support, Job Scheduler Monitoring, Scripting. Advanced Java/J2EE Expertise: Deep, hands-on experience with technologies like REST API, Servlets, JSP, JDBC, Struts, Hibernate, and Spring. Multi-Tier Server Proficiency: Advanced experience working with and troubleshooting across servers like Tomcat, JBoss, WebSphere, and WebLogic. Database Mastery: Advanced skills in database management and querying ( DB2, Oracle, Sybase, etc.). Unix & Scripting: Mid-to-Advanced level knowledge of Unix and strong experience in understanding and modifying Shell/Perl scripts for operational needs. Support & Tooling: Good experience with job scheduler monitoring tools ( Autosys, ProcMon, Crontab ). Familiarity with production tooling and processes (e.g., Jira, ServiceNow ) for Incident, Problem, and Change Management. Advanced experience with IDEs (Eclipse, NetBeans) and CI/CD tools (Git, Jenkins). SDLC Execution: Proven ability to implement and execute code changes (Java, Unix, DB) in production environments following the full SDLC process.
