This entry‑level position is for a role in Expeditors Network Management Center (NMC), a global solutions-based center of excellence. The NMC supports some of Expeditors' largest customers in aviation, automotive, pharmaceuticals, and retail industries, overseeing critical logistics shipments, aircraft on‑ground shipments, and other specialized logistics services. The team works with suppliers, customers, and service providers across North America and internationally to deliver real‑time transportation and visibility solutions with exceptional customer service. The role of a Logistics Coordinator focuses on executing our customers' premium transportation orders from inception through delivery. You will receive, book, and schedule transportation orders; perform exception management through a real‑time alert‑based tracking system; deliver solution‑based customer service; and use creativity and technical skills to analyze, review, and validate data, identifying trends, patterns, and anomalies. Major Duties and Responsibilities Provide 100% customer service at all times. Track and trace shipments to ensure smooth and timely freight process flow. Receive key shipment information from customers and enter it into our transportation management systems efficiently and accurately. Escalate issues properly to the customer per standard operating procedures, keeping them notified at all times of current shipment status and our plan to meet their needs. Comprehend KPIs: understand "Customer Quality Scores" to ensure value is added to stakeholders, internal and external. Analyze data: analyze customer and Expeditors' data to fully understand and display data to show meaningful stories or impacts. Provide program recommendations: recommend process, program, customer improvements, and obtain proper buy‑in to implement. Evaluate and review customer supply chain and processes as they pertain to Expeditors and internal processes to uncover areas of improvement or risk. Use data to develop and optimize strategies and processes, increasing profits, efficiency, quality and reducing costs. Manage projects: develop project plans and monitor performance. Exceptional analytical and conceptual thinking skills. Project management background preferred. Exceptional fluency in English, both written and verbal. Capable of presenting to directors or other senior positions at customers. Capable presentation, public speaking, and meeting facilitation skills. Ability to develop and maintain lasting relationships with internal and external stakeholders. Desired Qualifications One year of work experience. Bilingual in Spanish and English. Proficient computer skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.). Bachelor's degree in business, supply‑chain/logistics, finance, economics, project management, or related field preferred but not required. Exceptional customer service, presentation, research, verbal, and written communication abilities.
