This role is ideal for international candidates with experience estimating U.S. residential construction or strong exposure to U.S. plans and standards.About BuiltADUBuiltADU specializes in installing manufactured and modular homes across Southern California. We also work with private clients and local municipalities on repair and remodel projects, ranging from small residential jobs to larger multifamily scopes.What You'll Be DoingPreparing detailed takeoffs and cost estimates for U.S. residential and light multifamily projectsReviewing architectural, structural, and site plansDeveloping accurate pricing with strong cost awarenessSupporting project teams with clear, well-structured estimatesUsing modern tools, including AI (ChatGPT, Gemini, etc.), for research and pricing supportWhat We're Looking ForExperience estimating U.S. construction projects (preferred)Strong proficiency with Bluebeam (required); AutoCAD is a plusAbility to read and interpret construction drawings independentlyHigh attention to detail and consistency with numbersFluent written and spoken English (Spanish is a strong plus)Comfortable working remotely with minimal supervisionWork Setup (Please Read)~100% remote~ Must be available during Pacific Standard Time (PST) business hours~ Open to candidates based in LATAM, the Philippines, or Eastern Europe~ Stable internet connection and reliable communication requiredCompensationCompetitive, based on experience and regionPaid monthly or hourly (to be discussed)Long-term opportunity for the right candidateTraits We ValueDetail-oriented and organizedResourceful and proactiveStrong written and verbal communicationComfortable working with deadlines and a fast-moving teamIf you're an experienced estimator outside the U.S. looking for a long-term remote role working on American construction projects, we'd love to connect.#128073; Apply via LinkedIn or send us a direct message to start the conversation.
