Visit our website www.samsung.com or our career page HEREJob DescriptionWe are looking for a Legal Affairs ManagerLegal Counsel: Provide comprehensive legal advice on corporate transactions, contracts, intellectual property, and compliance matters to senior leadership and business units.Litigation Management: Oversee and manage high-profile litigation cases, including patent disputes, trade secret litigation, and regulatory investigations, ensuring favorable outcomes for the company.Tax Strategy & Compliance: Develop and implement tax strategies to optimize financial performance while ensuring compliance with local and international tax laws. Manage tax audits and disputes with regulatory authorities.Compliance & Risk Management: Develop and implement robust compliance programs to mitigate legal risks and ensure adherence to local and international laws and regulations.Contract Negotiation: Lead the negotiation and drafting of complex commercial agreements, including licensing deals, joint ventures, and partnerships.Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely among internal areas, such as Finance, Marketing, Commercial Divisions to address legal challenges and support business growth initiatives.Talent Development: Mentor and lead a team of legal professionals, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous professional development.Skills and QualificationsLegal degree or equivalent; Specialties on Business, Corporate and Government Relations is a plus.10+ years of experience in corporate law, tax and litigation within a large multinational organization or law firm.3+ years of experience in Law firmsProven track record of managing complex legal matters and delivering successful outcomes in high-stakes cases.Proven experience and expertise in Tax subjects and Tax litigations as well.Why is Samsung Electronics the place to be?Join a Global TeamWork with a dynamic and diverse team, constantly interacting with different cultures.Tackle Big ChallengesOur history is built on overcoming challenges and striving for excellence.
