Part-Time AI Trainer in Systems Engineering/DevOps Be among the first 25 applicants. Workana Premium is partnering with AfterQuery, a YC-backed AI research lab. This is a part-time, project-based opportunity where you'll contribute to the training of cutting-edge AI models by designing and documenting real-world engineering tasks. About AfterQuery AfterQuery is a research lab investigating the boundaries of artificial intelligence by advancing model capabilities. They are backed by top investors including Y Combinator, Box Group, ex-partners from Lightspeed and Index Ventures, and senior leadership from Google DeepMind and Meta GenAI. This step is the only evaluation in the process and is designed to confirm your technical skills and ability to contribute to AI training projects. Candidates who pass will be added to the AfterQuery Experts network and will start receiving project-based work. Why Join 🚀 Innovation Impact: Your expertise will directly contribute to the development of advanced AI systems ⏱ Flexible Engagement: Work remotely, part-time, on a per-project basis 🌍 Work at Scale: Be part of a global initiative hiring 200 engineers to build the future of AI Responsibilities Design multi-step software engineering tasks (e.g., debugging, refactoring, build automation, data processing) Write deterministic test suites and solutions Containerize tasks with Docker for consistency and reproducibility Document tasks with clear instructions, objectives, and requirements Requirements Proficiency with Linux/Unix command-line tools and Bash scripting 3+ years of professional software engineering experience Experience with Docker and containerized development Proficiency in at least one modern programming language (Python, Go, Rust, or C++) Based in Latin America Preferred Familiarity with build tools (Make, CMake, npm, Cargo, Gradle, etc.) Experience troubleshooting CI/CD pipelines Exposure to multiple languages (Python, Go, Rust, C/C++) Benefits Contract: Part-time / per-project basis - flexible schedule Compensation: $50 per task completed Location: 100% Remote Employment Details Seniority level: Mid-Senior level Employment type: Part-time Job function: Information Technology Industries: IT Services and IT Consulting #J-18808-Ljbffr
